Overview
What is Income Protection and how does it benefit employers?

Group Income Protection pays a percentage of an employee’s salary if they’re unable to work due to long term illness or injury. Our customers also have access to an extensive range of health and wellbeing services at no additional cost.

Financial peace of mind

Income Protection can be used by employers as an employee benefit, to provide continued income for sick and incapacitated employees, helping to relieve money worries at a difficult time. Having this valuable benefit in place can help to attract as well as retain employees, potentially reducing costly staff turnover.

Rehabilitation support

Unum have a team of dedicated rehabilitation consultants, who are there to help you manage sickness absence and the associated costs by supporting employees back to health, and back to work if this is the aim. Having this support available can reduce the length of absence and its impact on the organisation as well as support your valued employees through ill health.
