Celebrating wining excellence in health award

Unum wins top employer award for health and wellbeing excellence

Unum has been recognised for its commitment to advancing employee wellbeing through comprehensive and innovative benefits and initiatives at today’s Business Group on Health Best Employers: Excellence in Health & Wellbeing Award. It was one of 54 large employers honoured with the prestigious award.

The award criteria assessed applicants on their global approach in areas such as leadership, strategy and culture; holistic wellbeing (including mental health, financial security, physical health, social connectedness and job satisfaction); engagement; health equity and the employee experience.

Employers recognised with the Excellence in Global Health & Wellbeing Award earned the accolade through their exceptional efforts to support the needs of their employees worldwide. Unum showcased its dedication and commitment to their people by providing a range of mental, physical, and financial health benefits, alongside an innovative wellbeing programme. This includes the award-winning Help@hand service from Unum, which is available to all Unum UK employees as well as over 2 million customers and eligible family members.

"I am delighted to honour each and every one of these 54 employers, which demonstrably enhanced the health and wellbeing of employees and their families through leading-edge initiatives. In addition, their novel and impactful approaches focused on critical workforce issues, such as mental health and health equity. We congratulate all the winners."
