Unum UK launches fitness and wellbeing benefit

Unum UK launches new fitness and wellbeing benefit for employees

Leading employee benefits provider, Unum UK, is offering a new exercise and wellbeing benefit to its 850+ UK-based employees.

As part of Unum’s ongoing commitment to prioritise employees’ health and wellbeing, this voluntary benefit provided by Incorpore encourages employees to take control of both their physical health and fitness goals.

Employees can learn more about their current health status, how to recognise early warning signs, and identify sustainable lifestyle changes and healthy habits that can be assessed on a regular basis.

Under the scheme, all employees are eligible for:

  • discounted gym memberships
  • virtual fitness platforms
  • health assessments and clinics
  • a variety of home testing, including intolerances and allergies

With access to the UK’s largest health and fitness network, Incorpore offers employees the ability to create a personalised health and wellbeing package that is right for their lifestyle, health and budget needs and that can flex should circumstances change.

Jane Hulme, HR Director at Unum UK, comments:

“Over the last year, the UK economy lost 185.6 million working days to due sickness or injury. We wanted to take proactive steps to help protect the health, happiness and wellbeing of all our employees, aiming to cut this risk and help our people stay well and bring their whole selves to work.

We’re delighted to be strengthening our benefits offering yet again by introducing Incorpore, who share our passion for creating a bespoke approach to healthier workforces.”
