Cancer Assist

Gives MMB customers access to in-the-moment, personalised guidance from cancer experts Reframe Cancer. for them and their employees impacted by cancer. No question is too small — Reframe Cancer’s client navigators can help at any stage of the cancer journey.

Cancer Assist is available to all employees1 and their families, offering support pre-diagnosis, during and post-treatment, across five pillars of wellbeing: physical, emotional, financial, social and professional.

Employee Assistance Programme

To help with everyday life issues that, when left unaddressed, can become overwhelming, our EAP, fully integrated with and accessed via Help@hand, provides:

  • 24/7 helpline: for immediate support from trained staff, including signposting to appropriate onward services or a healthcare professional.
  • Financial and legal support: access to guidance on a range of issues from consumer rights, property law, family law and more, between 8am-8pm, Monday-Friday. One consultation per issue.
  • Wellbeing resources: on-demand wellbeing content including bitesize articles, videos and signposting to reliable resources on a broad range of issues.
  • Savings and discounts: provided by BenefitHub and fully integrated into the app, employees can access valuable discounts and money saving deals, helping towards everyday living costs.

Rehabilitation support

If you have taken out a Group Income Protection policy with us, we can help if an employee is struggling with a health condition. Whether still at work or off sick, our team of Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants can help from day one.

Support includes individual wellbeing or return-to-work plans, specialist assessments and access to treatment.

1 Eligible family members include partner and children up to 18, or up to 24 if in full-time education. Access to insured and uninsured employees available for companies where the UK entity employs 500 or fewer employees. Eligibility varies between services

2 For mild to moderate issues. Number of sessions subject to clinical appropriateness. Should the service be no longer suitable, users will be directed to alternative appropriate support.

3 Two consultations per year shared between employee, partner and eligible children, following a diagnosis from a treating doctor

4 Up to 8 consultations per year shared between employee and partner. Not suitable for complex, pre-existing or chronic conditions. Alternative guidance may be provided if appropriate

5 6 digital sessions per year for employee only

6 Cancer Screening Service for insured employees only. One funded screening kit per year.
