Yes, you can continue to use your dencover policy to make claims for treatment received up to 31st January 2023. Claims will be paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the policy.
Your cover will end on the 31st January 2023 and the benefits available under this policy will stop from this date but importantly, you can continue to use your dencover policy between now and 31st January 2023 to make any claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the policy.

To provide support to our customers during this process, claims for an ongoing course of restorative dental treatment, where identified or started before the 31st January, will be honoured for 6 months to 31st July 2023. However, we will not cover claims for new preventative treatments, emergency treatment or mouth cancer after 31st January 2023.
Cover must have remained in place up to and including 31st January 2023 and benefits will be paid in line with the level of cover and terms and conditions in force on the final day of cover.
Eligible restorative treatments: fillings, extractions, dentures, crowns, root canal treatment, bridges, hospital stays, worldwide accident cover and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Excluded treatments: routine check-ups & x-rays, scale & polish/hygienists worldwide emergency cover and mouth cancer cover.
Claims for eligible restorative treatment should be made via email, by sending to Dentalclaim@unum.co.uk.
Please ensure to include an itemised receipt, proof of payment and contact details for your dental practice. In line with the terms and conditions of your policy, claims must be submitted within 12 months of treatment being received.
You will not be charged for cover after 31st January 2023, however you may have a final premium collection in February based on your nominated collection date for the cover provided up to 31st January. We will send you an updated payment schedule to confirm your final premium collection date.
