As a Responsible Business, charity partnerships have been a core part of our culture and values for over a decade. They enable our employees to make a positive and lasting impact in our communities.
Our employees select a national and local charity partner (one each for our Basingstoke and Dorking offices) every 2 years to focus our employee fundraising activities on. In 2022 and 2023, we’re proudly supporting:
Rewilding Britain is the first and only countrywide organisation in Britain focusing on rewilding and its amazing benefits for our communities, nature and climate. Their vision is to see a mosaic of species-rich habitats restored and connected across at least 30% of Britain’s land and sea by 2030.
“Rewilding Britain is delighted to be announced as Unum’s national charity partner for 2022 and 2023. Our work in helping nature to heal and flourish while supporting prosperous communities is shared with Unum’s own mission and values of providing economic protection and resilience to people and supporting wellbeing in the workplace and personal life.” Rebecca Wrigley,
CEO, Rewilding Britain

QEF has over 85 years’ experience in providing innovative services to support disabled people of all ages to increase their independence and live the life they choose.
“QEF are delighted to have been chosen as Unum's charity partner for 2022-23 and are really excited about the difference this partnership can make to the lives of the people we support. Our services can be life-transforming for disabled people; helping individuals to become more independently mobile, develop key life skills or rebuild core skills such as walking and talking after an acquired brain injury or other neurological condition. "Working together, we can support disabled children and adults across Surrey and the South East to become as independent as possible, so they can live the life they choose."
