What products are available through UnumOnline?

What times can I use UnumOnline?
You can create a quote and confirm cover anytime between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Why can’t I log on to Unum Online?
Our old Unum Online portal is no longer active for group business. To access our new and improved portal, please create a new account.
Will my old log-in detail work on the new system?
No, you won’t be able to use your old password on the new system. Please create a new account.
I’ve created an account, what happens next?
We’ll send you an email with a link to log in to the new system. Please note the link will be available for 4 hours. If you don’t receive the email, please check your spam or junk email folder.
When I sign in, what’s my username?
Your username is your email address.
Can I get a quote which includes UK employees who travel on business overseas?
Yes, we can quote which includes UK employees who travel on business to any of the following locations:
- The European Union, Croatia, Iceland, Norway or Switzerland
- Australia or New Zealand
- USA or Canada
- Hong Kong, Japan or Singapore
Can I get a quote for companies in all UK locations?
We may not be able to quote online for employers based in certain ‘hot spots’. Please phone 0800 916 9846 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need any further information
Why isn’t the category information retained when I upload member data from a spreadsheet?
There may be a small difference between the two. Please make sure the category description you enter online exactly matches the category names in your member spreadsheet.
Are there any other restrictions when uploading member data?
Please remove any special characters - such as à or é - from member names.
What about quotes on the old system?
Once you have registered for the new version of UnumOnline, you will no longer have access to the previous version for group business quotes. However, you will be able to access the previous version of UnumOnline for Executive Income Protection quotes.
How do I confirm cover for a group quote produced on the previous version of UnumOnline after registering for the new version?
To confirm cover for a historical quote that is still within its guarantee period, please contact the support team on 0800 916 9846 between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
