25th April 2017
The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) has approved the appointment of Samantha (Sam) Hoe-Richardson as a non-Executive Director of Unum UK.
Sam is currently a non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Lancashire Holdings Ltd, a leading provider of specialty insurance and reinsurance, and a non-Executive Director of Lancashire Insurance Company (UK) Ltd.

Commenting on her appointment, Sam said: "I am delighted to be joining the Board of Unum UK, a company with a long-term strategic plan to grow the business, further enhance customer care and be innovative in the marketplace."
Malcolm McCaig, Chairman of Unum UK, said: "Sam is a dynamic leader who is used to operating in highly regulated, complex environments. I am delighted that she is joining the Board of Unum UK and I am sure she will be making a significant and positive contribution."
