Unum's Medical Services
Our success is based on helping individuals return to work as soon as possible. Whilst this happens we look to manage their claims in a simple and efficient manner.
The Unum Medical Services Team is at the heart of both these processes. With a unique understanding of disability issues, our Team not only help with claims for income protection insurance but with addressing how disability affects individuals and how a return to work can be managed. At the core of the Medical Services Team working ethos, is a strong understanding of the biopsychosocial model. As well as looking at the illness or disability, the team also understands the importance of our clients’ social circumstances, and psychological wellbeing, which may all have an effect on a claimant’s health.
Experience and understanding of disability is at the core of Unum's work and marks us out from our competitors.
