- Continued income during period of incapacity
- A monthly income benefit equivalent to 80% salary (including any employee pension fund contributions)
- In certain circumstances, an extra lump sum payment if there is no return to work
- An automatic lump sum calculated at 2 x salary up to a max of £120,000 will be paid on the expiry of the income benefit period if the employee remains incapacitated from one of a number of serious illnesses described in the policy
